JASPER’s October of 2014 Calendar Winner tours the Jasper facility.
On Thursday afternoon, Noel Clemmer (2014 JASPER Calendar Winner) and his wife stopped by the Jasper facility in their 1947 Ford COE truck, as they made their way to the annual Frog Follies in Evansville, IN.
Noel selected a 7.3L diesel engine and a 4:10 rear end assembly remanufactured by Jasper Engines & Transmissions to give his truck new life and dependability. Noel built the complete bed and installed the cab on a ’94 Ford ambulance frame. He also moved the engine compartment back six feet to place it under the bed!
Noel’s customized truck is a very cool piece of American history. But more importantly, it’s a tribute to Noel’s father and mother. The M3B designation on the truck stands for Mom’s 3 Boys. After their father passed away in a mining accident, Noel’s mother raised the three boys by herself. We’re sure that Noel’s father and mother would be proud of the hard work and love their son put into this lasting tribute!
